The standard ScoutPalDB setup process will install the program and database for ISBN books.  Subscribers who have become familiar with the process of updating their database may optionally download and install a premium, early-release of version 2 of the program.

SPDB2 has databases for ISBN's, as well as UPC databases with prices and ranks for DVD's, Music, Software, Tools, Toys, Videos (VHS), and Video Games.  It will automatically switch between ISBN and UPC lookups without changing "modes".  It works with scanner or keypad input, just like the standard ScoutPalDB program.

In the future, there may be an additional subscription charge for UPC databases, however subscribers current at that time will continue to have access to the premium SPDB2 services at no additional charge.
